Renowned Fuji artist Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere or Omo Rapala, is preparing to tie the knot with well-known relationship counselor and digital influencer Yinka Ayanda, aka Yinka TNT, marking his second marriage.
Obesere’s spokesperson, Arems Adeniyi, verified the news in a discussion with PREMIUM TIMES on Monday, September 15.
Obesere has been married to Abeni Tolanikawo for years, and they share children together.
Adeniyi stated, “It’s confirmed—Obesere is indeed marrying Yinka TNT as his second wife. While the news is public, an exact wedding date hasn’t been finalized. That’s all I can share for now.”
Yinka TNT, a UK-based mental health nurse, has gained fame for her candid conversations on intimacy, relationships, and wellness. She clarifies that while not formally trained in s3x therapy, her insights stem from personal marital experiences and observations.
In late 2024, Yinka disclosed in an interview that she was previously married and a mother, though she kept her ex-husband’s identity private. Whether she divorced before her new relationship with Obesere remains unknown.
Earlier this September, Yinka TNT shared on social media that she had formally introduced Obesere to her family. She posted photos alongside the Fuji icon, silencing skeptics and hinting at an upcoming introduction video on her Yoruba page. However, only their collaborative music video for “Ololufe,” released on September 7, is currently available.
The visuals depict the couple in cozy domestic scenes—lying in bed, cooking, and sharing affectionate moments. Yinka professes her love, declaring she’d choose Obesere “a million times over.”
The influencer has fiercely defended her union, lashing out at critics with sharp words.
She retorted, “Why the bitterness? Obesere isn’t bothered, yet you’re fixated. Anyone opposing this marriage will never thrive. What’s your stake in this? He’s made his choice—deal with it.”
“They advised silence, but Akande’s inner circle keeps provoking him, and it affects me. It’s done. I’m his wife, and no one can undo it. The naysayers? Just envy masking as concern.”
She concluded with a stern warning to those casting negativity on her marital bliss.
