Renowned Nigerian gospel artist Frank Edwards recently opened up about a life-changing encounter with the late evangelist Rev. Uma Ukpai.

 

In a heartfelt tribute, Edwards credited Ukpai with miraculously curing him of chronic asthma and pneumonia during his childhood.

 

The passing of the influential preacher, founder of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, was confirmed by his family in an official statement released earlier this week.

 

The announcement revealed that the beloved clergyman passed away on October 6th at the age of 80, sparking an outpouring of tributes across social media platforms.

 

Among the flood of condolences, Edwards shared his personal testimony about Ukpai’s divine healing power during one of the evangelist’s crusades in Enugu.

 

The singer emotionally recounted, “At just eight years old, I was completely healed of asthma and pneumonia at your crusade! Your legacy continues to inspire generations. WELL DONE, PAPA. REST IN PEACE.”
