Cross

Reality TV personality Cross Okonkwo recently disclosed that a potential career opportunity slipped away because of his unwavering public stance on Christianity.

The ex-Big Brother Naija contestant, 34, shared that an individual refused to collaborate with him due to his bold social media declarations about his faith in Jesus Christ.

Though he didn’t specify the job or employer, Cross emphasized that he refuses to compromise his beliefs for professional gain.

He acknowledged that many still perceive him as the same person from the BBNaija house, but he insists his spiritual and personal growth since the show has transformed him.

Cross affirmed that he would never compromise his values for financial gain, even if it meant facing hardship, and stressed that material wealth is secondary to divine purpose.

He also distanced himself from comparisons with other BBNaija alumni, stating that everyone has their own journey and expressing goodwill toward his peers.

In a candid post on X, he wrote: “You reject working with me because I boldly proclaim my faith in Christ? Hilarious. One day, I’ll own everything you have—just watch.

“Some still see me as the guy from Big Brother, but my spirit and soul have evolved. Accept it and move on. 🥂❤️

“I’d rather be penniless than betray my faith. Fame doesn’t define me—true riches come from God alone.

“And please, don’t compare me to my BBNaija family. We each walk our own path. I love and support them all.”

Since his stint on BBNaija Season 7, Cross has remained vocal about his spiritual journey, inspiring many with his unwavering convictions.
