His spouse, Victoria Beckham, 51, uploaded an image on Instagram of the athlete reclining in a hospital bed, dressed in a medical gown, with the caption: ‘Get well soon Daddy’.

The 50-year-old ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid player seems to have sustained an arm injury, visible with a blue sling.

Another image displayed Beckham wearing a friendship bracelet with beads that read ‘Get well soon’, reminiscent of Taylor Swift’s signature style.
