Barcelona coach Hansi Flick allegedly confined his squad in the locker room following their 1-1 stalemate against Rayo Vallecano last Saturday.
The outcome marked the end of the LaLiga titleholders’ flawless start to the campaign.
Barcelona had previously trounced Mallorca 3-0 in their opener and secured a narrow 3-2 victory over Levante.
However, Flick has been dissatisfied with his team’s displays this term and made his frustrations clear after the Vallecano clash.
According to The Athletic, Flick locked the dressing room doors and reiterated the same points from his press conference—only with far stronger language.
“The key point is that once the transfer window shuts, every remaining player must be fully dedicated to this club,” Flick stated post-match.
“No room for egos—they destroy success. Last season, we operated as a collective. We must return to that mindset now.”
