Nigerian artist Portable has sparked another debate, this time firing back at fellow musician Bella Shmurda following a recent interview.
The drama unfolded after Shmurda appeared on the ‘Curiousity Made Me Ask’ podcast, where host Isbae U inquired about a potential collaboration with Portable.
Shmurda dismissed the idea, stating their musical styles don’t align and that he prefers to avoid unnecessary drama.
Not taking the slight lightly, Portable clapped back, boasting about his superior fame, international reach, and refusing to be associated with what he considers inferior talent.
In his fiery response, Portable declared:
“If you’re doing interviews, keep my name out of it. We can’t work together. I’ve toured America and London – I’m not some newcomer. You’re a failure. I don’t collaborate with failures…”
The online community quickly weighed in:
@2thewurldd commented: “Claiming you want no drama is still inviting drama from Portable”
@horlumedy noted: “The industry’s troublemaker strikes again”
@Adeomo_ola shared: “Portable never ignores anyone mentioning him – it’s his brand, though he’d never admit it”
@kropelgrada argued: “Let’s be real – Portable has achieved more mainstream success than Bella Shmurda”
