The final resting place for beloved actress Tope Osoba will be Iperu Remo, with her burial now scheduled for September 10, 2026.
In an official statement released by her family, the funeral proceedings will commence at 9:00 am when her remains are transported from OSUTH Sagamu Mortuary.
A memorial service is set to take place between 10:00 am and 11:00 am at Akesan Club, located opposite Iperu Morning Market.
Attendees have been instructed to dress in white attire, with interment following immediately after the service at Iperu Remo Cemetery.
This revised date marks a change from the initial burial plans set for August 13, allowing additional time for proper arrangements post the commemorative candlelight vigil and artists’ tribute.
The Osoba and Awonuga families expressed profound appreciation for the overwhelming support shown through prayers and presence at remembrance events.
Osoba, who captivated audiences with her acting prowess, succumbed to breast cancer after a prolonged health struggle.
Her passing was met with an outpouring of grief from Nollywood colleagues and devoted fans during recent memorial gatherings celebrating her legacy.
