Femi Adebayo

Omotayo Sanusi, popularly known as Iyan Aladuke and the former wife of Nollywood star Femi Adebayo, has publicly condemned the actor amid the ongoing dispute surrounding her alleged eviction from a Lagos residence and their tumultuous divorce.

The backlash follows a statement from a family member defending Adebayo against accusations circulating online.

Iyan Aladuke recently lamented the forced closure of her business, sparking outrage on social media, with many alleging Adebayo had neglected her.

However, Taiwo Abdulmalik, a relative of Adebayo, countered these claims in an interview with Punch, asserting that Iyan Aladuke was fully aware of the financial complications leading to the eviction.

Abdulmalik clarified that the property was acquired through a bank loan, and foreclosure proceedings were initiated due to repayment defaults—not Adebayo’s personal vendetta.

Breaking her silence, Iyan Aladuke recounted her struggles, insisting she never intended to escalate the matter publicly but felt compelled to expose the truth.

She accused Adebayo of orchestrating her eviction with armed men, emphasizing the trauma inflicted on her elderly mother during the incident.

She further alleged that Adebayo prioritizes his public image over accountability, citing his sudden, publicity-driven visit to their son’s school after a year of absence.

In a fiery social media post, she declared: “I endured in silence, but no more. The fabricated stories are crumbling, revealing his true nature. Who sends armed men to evict a family? My mother was humiliated at gunpoint—this is unforgivable. Your staged charity won’t erase the pain.

“You’ve weaponized lies to tarnish me, but the truth is undeniable. That ‘heartwarming’ school visit? A calculated PR stunt after abandoning your son for months. I won’t be silenced—retract those false Punch narratives or face the consequences. My patience ends here.”
