Destiny Boy

The family of late Afrobeat sensation Afeez Adeshina, widely recognized as Destiny Boy, is seeking public support in retrieving the artist’s missing Sports Utility Vehicle, which disappeared shortly after his passing.

A heartbreaking plea from Destiny Boy’s father circulated online, revealing disturbing claims about the SUV vanishing from their possession. The distressed parent insisted that the luxury vehicle was abruptly taken back to the dealership posthumously under questionable circumstances.

Reports indicate the ill-fated SUV was acquired from Lycon Autos months prior, with the dealership providing a chauffeur service upon purchase—a driver who later became Destiny Boy’s personal employee.

The emotional father recounted, “I’m begging Nigerians for justice. My late son’s car has vanished—a premium SUV purchased from Lycon Autos. I witnessed the transaction myself when we acquired it together.

“The company assigned a chauffeur to deliver the vehicle initially; Destiny eventually retained his services permanently.”

The situation escalated when the driver allegedly reclaimed the car, citing unpaid wages, and returned it to the dealership without notifying the grieving relatives.

“The driver disappeared with our car citing salary disputes, leaving no contact information. That SUV represents part of Destiny’s legacy—it should be with his family now,” he lamented.

The young musician passed suddenly last Sunday at just 22 years old. His mother previously disclosed his prolonged health struggles with a rare seizure disorder referred to traditionally as “Ogu oru.”

During recent interviews, she emphasized their exhaustive efforts—medical consultations alongside traditional and spiritual interventions—to manage his condition discreetly, protecting his burgeoning music career from undue scrutiny.

The bereaved mother vehemently refuted circulating ritual sacrifice rumors, condemning such speculation as cruel falsehoods. She affirmed the family’s unwavering commitment to Destiny Boy’s treatment throughout his difficult health journey.
