Nigerian crypto mogul Linus Williams Ifejirika, better known as Blord, has issued a legal warning to social media personality VeryDarkMan, instructing him to cease using the term “Ratel,” a name Blord recently trademarked.
Blord announced the move via a viral Instagram post, revealing that he secured exclusive rights to the “Ratel” brand for his business ventures.
In a public statement posted on his Instagram story, Blord asserted that VeryDarkMan must seek his permission before using the name in any capacity.
“My legal team has sent a cease-and-desist order to VDM barring him from using my trademarked brand name ‘Ratel.’ Moving forward, he must obtain my authorization to reference it,” Blord declared.
The announcement has ignited a firestorm of debate across various social media platforms.
This legal confrontation follows months of online disputes between Blord and VeryDarkMan, which initially flared up in late 2025.
The feud began after VeryDarkMan traveled to China to assist Nigerian entrepreneurs in securing affordable suppliers. During this trip, he publicly accused Blord of deceptive pricing and fraudulent business practices involving customized electronics. Tensions further escalated when VeryDarkMan reportedly involved law enforcement to probe Blord’s business operations.
Notably, “Ratel” has been the unofficial title adopted by VeryDarkMan’s dedicated online followers.
