
The relatives of 18-year-old Jibrael Fehintola have shared heartfelt words in his memory.
Fehintola tragically lost his life following a severe e-bike accident in Leeds, UK.
The young man, a resident of Woodhouse, Leeds, passed away after his bike struck a tree on Butcher Hill in West Park during the early hours of Saturday, August 23, 2025.
Authorities confirmed no other vehicles were involved, with the incident reported to West Yorkshire Police at 1:07 AM.
His funeral was held on Thursday, August 28.
In a tribute released on Friday, August 29, his family described him as an extraordinary individual.
“Jibrael was our cherished son—a bright, witty, and gifted young man with boundless possibilities,” the statement expressed.
“He possessed courage, dedication, and an unwavering spirit. Deeply adored by loved ones, his infectious smile lit up every space he entered.
“His innate compassion and selflessness touched countless lives. Jibrael left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
“Though his time was cut short, he embraced life joyfully, leaving no moment unlived.”
West Yorkshire Police’s Major Collision Enquiry Team (MCET) is actively investigating the incident and urges witnesses to assist.
Authorities reiterate no other vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred around 10:05 AM that Saturday.
The case remains under review, with findings to be submitted to the West Yorkshire Coroner.
