Speculation spread rapidly across digital platforms, suggesting that Jessica suffered severe post-operative complications following a secondary BBL procedure at the Lagos cosmetic surgery center.
The situation escalated when a distressing video emerged, purportedly showing Jessica writhing in agony during a medical dressing change after the surgery, sparking widespread public outcry.

In an official Instagram statement dated March 10, 2026, the hospital’s management categorically denied any connection to the viral video.
The facility asserted that the footage in question was neither filmed at their premises nor involved their medical staff.
The hospital emphasized that the location depicted in the video remains unidentified and unaffiliated with their operations.
The statement clarified, “Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Hospital acknowledges the disturbing video currently trending online, which is being incorrectly associated with our institution.
“We categorically state: this incident did not occur at our clinic, and we have no knowledge of where it was recorded.”
The hospital implored the online community to refrain from sharing unconfirmed information, stressing that such actions compound the family’s grief.
While expressing sympathy to Jessica’s bereaved relatives, the management called for respectful and considerate discourse regarding the sensitive matter.
