Nigerian disc jockey sensation Nonso Temisan Ajufo, aka DJ Big N, has slammed the latest wave of pretenders flooding the DJ scene with half-hearted efforts and shallow dedication.

The Mavin Records turntablist fired shots on Instagram, declaring: “Suddenly, everyone’s a DJ. This isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme or a backup plan. Without pure passion for music? You’ll disappear faster than last year’s hit!”

Doubling down, he targeted copycat selectors, stating: “This goes out to DJs stuck on Amapiano like it’s the only sound that exists. Expand your playlist or get left behind.”
