Ex-Super Eagles skipper Sunday Oliseh has hailed Victor Osimhen as Nigeria’s standout footballer, predicting a blockbuster move if he maintains his form.
The Napoli forward’s electrifying hat-trick against Benin Republic in the World Cup qualifiers has reignited transfer rumors, with top English clubs monitoring his progress.
Oliseh stated on his podcast: “Osimhen needs just three or four more games at this level. If he delivers like he did against Benin, mark my words—he’ll command an astronomical fee in the Premier League soon.”
Despite Ademola Lookman’s recent continental accolade, Oliseh argues Osimhen’s all-around impact makes him Nigeria’s premier talent.
“Lookman may be Africa’s current best, but Osimhen’s influence on the pitch is unmatched. His intensity, finishing, and work ethic set him apart,” he added.
