Comedian Skitmaker Remote opened up about tying the knot sooner than planned due to the loss of his mother.
He shared this emotional revelation in a candid conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
The entertainer disclosed that he and his longtime partner exchanged vows in 2020.
Having dated for four years prior, the couple took their relationship to the next level following his mother’s passing.
Remote explained, “I said ‘I do’ between 2020 and 2021. The truth is, losing my mother left a void. My wife filled that maternal space beautifully. We’ve been together since 2016.”
“She’s been my rock through everything – offering support when I had nothing. I’ll never forget when she gave me ₦1000 during my struggling days. That gesture broke me,” he confessed emotionally.
“She’s uniquely equipped to handle my complexities,” the comedian added, “sometimes I don’t even understand myself, but she does.”
