Actress Doris Ogala has firmly rejected Pastor Chris Okafor’s apology after he announced a hiatus from his ministerial duties, insisting that his temporary departure does little to address her unresolved concerns.
As previously reported by Amonpoint News, the pastor from Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry confirmed stepping back from leading church activities.
In a video circulating online, the cleric informed his congregation that associate ministers would oversee services for January while he focused on personal prayer, rest, and family time—something he and his wife had neglected since their wedding.
Ogala, however, remains unsatisfied, emphasizing that the pastor’s leave of absence fails to address the core issue: the unanswered questions about her late brother’s death.
She contends that Okafor must provide clarity on his alleged involvement in the tragedy, vowing to present irrefutable proof to support her claims.
In an emotional video statement, she declared: “People assume I should move on because he apologized or circulated false rumors about me—detention, leaked photos, and marriage troubles. That’s irrelevant. Chris Okafor must explain my brother’s fate. Resigning temporarily changes nothing.
“Handing the pulpit to an assistant pastor for a month isn’t enough. Accountability is non-negotiable. Where is the truth about my brother’s poisoning? I have recordings, evidence—everything will come to light.
“The fight has just begun. No matter his influence, his actions crossed a line. What compensation could possibly replace a life? His apology means nothing if the truth remains buried.
“This is the first step. Every secret will unravel. He must answer: Why target my brother? What was his crime? Why betray me this deeply? Stepping away won’t silence me.”
