Renowned music mogul Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly called Don Jazzy, has debunked rumors suggesting he accepts payment for promoting artists and filmmakers.

The Mavin Records CEO responded to the speculation on social media after a humorous skit featuring actor Itele surfaced, where the actor jokingly pressured Don Jazzy to endorse his upcoming movie ‘Black Market.’

After the video went viral, a social media user insinuated that the collaboration was financially motivated, claiming Don Jazzy monetizes his promotional influence.

Don Jazzy swiftly denied the accusation, clarifying that he has never accepted payment for endorsements and always supports fellow creatives without charge.

He emphasized that assumptions about paid promotions distort his genuine commitment to uplifting the entertainment industry.

‘Black Market,’ a Nollywood blockbuster, aims to break the Guinness World Record for the largest film screening at a single location.

The project, produced by multiple studios, will premiere on September 26 at Lagos’ Tafawa Balewa Square, with organizers hoping to attract 50,000 attendees.

This ambitious endeavor seeks to eclipse the current record of 43,000 simultaneous viewers.
