Music and business icon Sean “Diddy” Combs has been cleared of racketeering accusations following a dramatic court case.

While escaping the most serious allegations, Combs was convicted on two criminal counts related to unlawful transportation.

The high-profile trial saw Diddy cleared of racketeering conspiracy (Count One) and s£x trafficking involving Cassie Ventura (Count Two).

Jurors delivered a guilty verdict for Count Three (transportation for pr0stitution involving Ventura) while dismissing Count Four (s£x trafficking allegations concerning “Jane”).

Count Five resulted in another conviction for transportation charges related to the woman identified as “Jane.”

These convictions carry severe penalties, with possible ten-year prison terms for each guilty count.

After six intense weeks featuring testimony from 34 prosecution witnesses (the defense called none), the eight-man, four-woman jury spent just over two days deliberating before reaching their decisive conclusions.

Judge Arun Subramanian is currently weighing whether Combs will remain free pending sentencing, promising a decision today after reviewing legal arguments from both sides.

The prosecution has signaled their intent to seek “substantial prison time” for the hip-hop billionaire, whose legal troubles began with a September 2024 indictment.

The case expanded significantly in March 2025 with amended charges including forced labor, followed by additional s£x trafficking allegations the next month.

Feds painted a picture of Combs allegedly exploiting his business empire to facilitate criminal activities ranging from s£x trafficking to obstruction of justice.

The trial featured bombshell testimony, including from Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura – their abusive relationship documented in viral 2016 hotel footage.

Other key witnesses included anonymous accusers (“Mia” and “Jane”) and male escorts who described participating in organized s£x parties with Combs and associates.

The prosecution bolstered their case with expert testimony about abusive relationship dynamics and eyewitness accounts of alleged misconduct.

Rapper Kid Cudi (Scott Mescudi) delivered perhaps the most shocking testimony, claiming Combs orchestrated a home invasion and car arson after learning about his relationship with Ventura – allegations Combs has repeatedly denied.
