Afrobeats superstar Davido, born David Adeleke, has expressed fury over a viral video capturing a horrific bullying incident at Igbinedion Secondary School in Edo State.

The award-winning artist took to X on Sunday, delivering a scathing rebuke of the attackers. “Absolute savages… this is beyond sickening,” he posted, reacting to the widely circulated footage.

The graphic video depicts two male students mercilessly beating a defenseless classmate lying helpless on the ground.

One assailant is seen dragging the victim by his uniform before brutally kicking his head and torso as the boy screams in agony.

A third student filming the assault pleads unsuccessfully for the violence to end, amplifying the disturbing nature of the incident.

The footage ignited a firestorm across social media platforms, forcing school administrators to take swift disciplinary measures.

Authorities at Igbinedion Secondary School permanently expelled the attackers while handing a suspension to the student who recorded the assault.

Edo State Police Command issued an official statement confirming the expulsions and suspension, with spokesperson Eno Ikioyedem revealing that Commissioner Monday Agbonika has ordered a thorough probe.

“The Edo State Police Command maintains zero tolerance for student violence, bullying, or harassment. Perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” the statement emphasized.
