Nigerian superstar Davido has publicly thanked his father, Adedeji Adeleke, for stepping in to address the unfolding paternity controversy involving a woman named Ayo Labinjoh and her daughter.
The dispute escalated when Aanu Adeleke, a teenager, publicly called out Davido last week, insisting on establishing his paternity through scientific verification.
Davido, however, refuted these claims on social media, revealing that multiple DNA tests conducted in the past confirmed no biological link between him and Aanu.
Challenging his stance, Ayo Labinjoh dismissed the presented DNA reports as fraudulent, maintaining her position that the Afrobeats star is indeed the father of her child.
In a recent press briefing, Adedeji Adeleke defended his son by revealing that extensive DNA testing included not just Davido but also his cousin, fellow musician B-Red.
Acknowledging his father’s support, the “Unavailable” singer took to Instagram on Thursday, posting a heartfelt message alongside a photo of them together: “Thank you, my loving Father.”
