Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido, born David Adeleke, recently shared how marriage has transformed his daily life. During an intimate interview on The Long Form podcast, he admitted his nights out have drastically reduced since tying the knot with Chioma Adeleke.
The hitmaker confessed that domestic bliss now tops his agenda—whether bonding with loved ones at home or virtually connecting with his spouse while traveling.
“Early fame brought wild freedom—clubs were my second home back then.
“These days, you’ll find me homebound for months. My recent Nigeria stay? Zero club appearances. Just creative sessions in my studio, hosting cookouts with friends until dawn.
“Time flies when you’re enjoying the simple things. Before I know it, daybreak arrives. That’s when I video-call Chioma and drift asleep mid-conversation,” the musician revealed.
Despite his newfound domesticity, Davido maintains he hasn’t completely abandoned social events, selectively attending performances and gatherings with inner-circle friends.
The Grammy-nominated artist emphasized that quality rest and family moments now take precedence over nocturnal adventures.
“Clubs? Not my scene anymore. These days it’s all about late-night FaceTime sessions with wifey” — Davido opens up about his transformed priorities.
