Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid Are Useless to Nigerians – Verydarkman

 

Controversial activist Verydarkman has launched a scathing critique against Nigeria’s Afrobeat heavyweights—Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy—accusing them of neglecting societal struggles while indulging in extravagance.

 

In a fiery social media outburst, he slammed the trio for prioritizing opulence over philanthropy, citing Burna Boy’s eye-popping ₦3.5 billion luxury car purchase as the latest example.

 

Verydarkman unleashed his unfiltered thoughts, directing his harshest words at Davido:

 

“Do any of you ever read the room? Sure, you’re not politicians, but hear me out. Davido, you’re my guy, but let’s keep it real—what exactly have you done for Osun State? What’s your contribution to Nigeria beyond flaunting wealth? Nigerians idolize money, so you lot toss pocket change just to seem like ‘odogwu.’ Truth is, all three of you bring zero value to this country…”

 

Social media erupted with mixed reactions:

 

@Mayo6Tee fired back: “Convenient timing! Davido bought a Tesla Cybertruck last week, mocked Nigeria’s investment potential, and even boasted about his presidential connections—yet VDM stayed silent. Now Burna’s car costs more? Suddenly he’s got receipts?”

 

@Idan_Papii disagreed: “VDM’s point misses the mark. No one dictates how self-made stars spend their money. This reeks of entitlement.”
