Dami Marshall, daughter of legendary Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall—renowned as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate—has dismissed swirling speculations about a romantic relationship between slavesher and fast-rising artist Asake.
Fans began linking the duo after Dami posted a playful photo with Asake titled, “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” fueling widespread gossip across social media.
Setting the record straight, Marshall emphasized that the image merely captured their first encounter and carries no romantic undertones.
“That was literally our first meeting—just a fun picture, nothing more. Blogs love twisting stories for clicks,” she clarified in an Instagram post.
Asake, who ended a long-term relationship with Gambian socialite Madame Mystique nearly a decade ago, remains private about his personal life.
