The Portuguese legend, who confirmed their engagement in August after nearly a decade together, shared the intimate details of the spontaneous proposal during a candid interview.

Georgina, a renowned model, celebrated the milestone on social media, posting a snapshot of her stunning ring alongside the caption: ‘Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.’

Ronaldo, known for his reserved romantic side, admitted the proposal wasn’t premeditated but unfolded perfectly thanks to an unexpected nudge from his daughters.



‘It was late at night, around 1am. My kids were asleep,’ the football star revealed. ‘A close friend handed me the ring, and just as I was about to present it, my daughters walked in and said, “Daddy, are you giving Mum the ring? Are you asking her to marry you?”‘

He continued, ‘That’s when I realized—this was the perfect moment. I hadn’t planned it, but their words made it feel right. I gave a simple speech—I’m not the type to shower flowers every week, but I knew she was the love of my life.’
