Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy stirred controversy yet again after ejecting an inattentive couple from his Denver concert on Wednesday night.
Midway through his electrifying performance, the Grammy winner abruptly halted the show, calling out a fan whose partner had dozed off in the front row.
“Yo, if you’re gonna bring your girl to my show and she’s sleeping while I’m killing myself on stage, that’s straight disrespect. Get her tf outta here right now! Swear to God, I’m not dropping another track till y’all bounce,” the visibly irate artist declared.
Despite initial protests from the embarrassed couple, the crowd turned against them, chanting for their removal until security escorted them out.
This isn’t the first time Burna Boy has made headlines for ejecting concertgoers. The “Last Last” crooner previously booted an overzealous fan who rushed the stage in Lagos and once removed an audience member for failing to dance during his set.
The latest incident has reignited debates about artist expectations versus fan experiences at live events, with social media buzzing about whether Burna Boy’s strict concert etiquette crosses the line.
