I Go Save

Renowned Nigerian comedian I Go Save has sparked reactions with his sharp response to a trending video featuring Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh performing a deliverance ritual on a schoolchild during a charity event.

The clip, originally posted by Dikeh herself, captured her praying fervently over a young student while claiming she had been liberated from spiritual oppression and now aids others in achieving the same freedom.

As the footage circulated widely, social media erupted with mixed opinions—some praising her efforts, while others questioned her approach.

Joining the debate, I Go Save took to Instagram Stories with biting sarcasm, accusing the actress of prioritizing theatrics over addressing Nigeria’s pressing political crises.

His post mocked the idea of targeting a primary school pupil for spiritual intervention while ignoring corrupt leaders. He insinuated the act was merely a publicity stunt or an attempt to grow her online following.

The comedian further criticized the appropriateness of such a public display involving a minor, suggesting it bordered on exploitation.

His caption read: “Our politicians are looting the nation dry, yet you chose a defenseless schoolgirl for your ‘deliverance show.’ Is this about faith—or just another bid for viral fame?

Maybe you’re launching a YouTube ministry next? Because this performance feels more like content farming than genuine healing.”
