Renowned Nigerian reality TV personality and comedian DeeOne has called on authorities to conduct a comprehensive audit of all non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in Nigeria, citing concerns over financial misconduct.
The entertainer raised the alarm in a viral Instagram video, exposing how certain NGOs allegedly divert funds for illegal activities. He emphasized the urgent need for government intervention to curb these practices.
“The Nigerian government must scrutinize every NGO’s financial records immediately. Many are fronts for funding terrorism, human trafficking, and even organ harvesting schemes,” DeeOne revealed.
He continued, “It’s alarming how quickly some individuals establish NGOs after so-called humanitarian acts, only to amass suspicious wealth overnight. While legitimate earnings are acceptable, profiting from people’s suffering is criminal.”
