Renowned Afrobeat artist Chike has publicly called out Chioma Nneoma Ochibili, accusing her of financial deception in what appears to be a failed business venture.
Through a string of explosive X posts, the “Boo of the Booless” crooner revealed he entrusted Chioma with $20,000 for a purported business deal that never materialized.
The award-winning musician expressed shock at discovering the alleged scam months after the transaction.
His posts read, “Chioma Nneoma Ochibili, is this how you operate? Presenting fake business proposals just to swindle people? Turns out her real business is living off other people’s money.
“$50,000 gone, just like that. $20,000 of my sweat and tears vanished. Can’t believe I’m just realizing now that I’m another victim in her long list. Honestly, I’m laughing at my own naivety.”
The vocalist cautioned his massive fanbase against engaging in any financial dealings with the accused.
When pressed for details about their business arrangement, Chike redirected focus to the alleged fraudulent nature of the transaction.
“The specifics of Chioma’s proposal don’t matter. The alarming truth is the business never existed—that’s textbook fraud,” he emphasized.
Chike confirmed he’s pursuing legal avenues to reclaim his funds from the controversial social media personality.
