Chelle Storms Lagos To Scout Players For CHAN 2024

Eric Chelle, the Super Eagles head coach, will attend the President Federation Cup final between Kwara United and Abakaliki FC.

The championship match will be held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Saturday, June 28.

Chelle aims to scout fresh talent for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) during the event.

Last month, the Malian coach picked 10 local players for the Unity Cup invitational tournament in London.

CHAN exclusively features players competing in their home country’s domestic leagues.

Nigeria has been drawn in Group D, facing Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan, and Equatorial Guinea.

The tournament, held every two years, will be jointly hosted by Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania in August.
