Super Eagles

Super Eagles manager, Eric Chelle, has announced his final 23-player squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa next month.

While key players have been retained, several notable names are missing.

Bayer Leverkusen stars Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella were excluded, along with Real Sociedad forward Sadiq Umar.

Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is included, alongside defenders Calvin Bassey, Olaoluwa Aina, and Bright Osayi-Samuel, midfielders Wilfred Ndidi, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, and Frank Onyeka, as well as forwards Simon Moses, Samuel Chukwueze, and Cyriel Dessers.
