Chelle Releases 31-Man Super Eagles Squad For Rwanda, South Africa

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has announced a 31-player roster for upcoming 2026 World Cup qualification matches.

Nigeria will first face Rwanda at home before traveling to Bloemfontein to play South Africa on September 9.

The squad includes established stars like Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Stanley Nwabali, Calvin Bassey, and William Troost-Ekong.

Sevilla forward Jerome Adams receives his first national team call-up, while Terem Moffi returns after recovering from injury.

These matches will be crucial for Nigeria’s hopes of reaching the tournament in the joint US-Mexico-Canada hosting.

Nigeria currently sits fourth in Group C with seven points, trailing South Africa, Rwanda, and Benin Republic.
