Celebrity influencer Cubana Chief Priest has openly supported TikTok sensation Peller after his unsuccessful attempt to connect with global streaming star iShowSpeed during the latter’s Lagos tour.
IShowSpeed landed in Lagos on Wednesday, marking his 21st birthday festivities.
Though Peller didn’t secure a face-to-face with the internet personality, his relentless pursuit has become a hot topic across social platforms.
Taking to Instagram, Chief Priest applauded Peller’s tenacity and drive, condemning those who mock ambition. He highlighted the TikToker’s fearless attitude toward success as the key factor behind his growing fame.
Chief Priest speculated that iShowSpeed’s apparent snub might have been strategic rather than dismissive.
He wrote, “Why do we enjoy tearing down our own people’s hustle? A young hustler like Peller is grinding to meet Speed, an industry leader, yet some mock him.
“There’s no shame in the hustle. I respect Peller’s hunger to chase his dreams. Now you see why he’s surpassing many—because he pushes without fear. Speed is in Nigeria, but Peller owns the trends.
“Instead of celebrating our own, we tear them down just to laugh. Little do we know, we’re actually fueling their rise.
“Streaming thrives on boldness. Did you enjoy the thrill? Peller won’t fade because his fire burns bright—let him cook. Even Speed faces rejection—so what’s new?
“Speed ignoring Peller wasn’t random—it’s a game. Peller’s persistence is everything. Never fear rejection; embrace it. Keep climbing.”
