Embattled car dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, has opened up about his painful separation from his children following the bitter fallout with his late wife’s relatives.
In an emotional revelation, the businessman disclosed it has been more than three agonizing years since he last laid eyes on his five children.
IVD broke his silence during a candid discussion on The Honest Bunch podcast, where he shared the heart-wrenching details of his forced estrangement from his kids.
With evident anguish in his voice, the father expressed deep worries about his children’s welfare, admitting he hasn’t been allowed any form of communication with them.
“My children were taken from me unlawfully. Three long years have passed without a single moment with them. I don’t even know their current condition – no calls, no contact,” IVD lamented.
The distressed parent accused his late wife’s family of deliberately severing all parental ties between him and his offspring.
Amidst this turmoil, IVD shared that he’s discovered newfound happiness with his current partner, controversial relationship expert Blessing Okoro, famously known as Blessing CEO.
When confronted about rumors of infidelity in his new relationship, the auto magnate swore a solemn denial: “Absolutely not. I stake my life on that,” he declared with conviction.
The tragedy-stricken union between IVD and his late wife Bimbo came to a devastating end when she lost her life in a horrific fire accident at their Lekki residence in October 2022.
Their 16-year marriage had been clouded by accusations of domestic abuse from both sides, painting a complex picture of their troubled relationship.
