Carter Efe Prioritizes Streaming Over Marriage Plans

Nigerian comedian and popular streamer Carter Efe has firmly stated that marriage is not on his agenda—now or ever. Despite having a child with his former partner Emmanuella, the two parted ways amid accusations of infidelity.

Speaking candidly in a recent interview, Efe brushed off speculation that he might reconsider tying the knot later in life. Though many doubt his age, he confirmed being 24, born in 2001, and unwavering in his stance.

“Streaming is my passion—my everything. I’ve already committed to my career, and marriage isn’t part of the plan,” he declared. “That’s not changing.”

The comedian also weighed in on fellow creators Peller and Jarvis, who recently exchanged vows. He suggested social media’s relentless influence may have played a role in their decision, as online audiences often dictate expectations around relationships.

Without bitterness, he noted that he didn’t receive a wedding invite, jokingly adding, “Maybe they knew I’d bring my Twitch setup instead of a gift.”
