Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has finally responded to the viral reports claiming Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traoré rejected his proposal for a free concert in the West African nation.

Rumors had been circulating that the Burkinabé leader declined the Grammy winner’s generous offer to perform at no cost for his fans in Burkina Faso.

The self-proclaimed “African Giant” didn’t hold back as he clapped back at critics on Instagram, delivering a fiery message to his detractors.

His explosive post read:

“When I announced plans for a free Burkina Faso concert, I expected love. Instead, keyboard warriors hit me with unbelievable negativity that left me stunned.

1. Let’s be clear – if your biggest life achievement is spewing nonsense online, you’re not worthy of even saying my name.

2. Who gave you the right to dictate what I should do for MY Africa? Show me one meaningful thing your entire bloodline has ever done for the continent.

3. I don’t need validation or rewards. My track record speaks for itself. If you came with negativity, may you roast in eternal flames.”
