Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy has praised global pop icon Shakira for her hands-on approach in crafting their hit collaboration, ‘Dia Dia,’ the official anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
During a candid interview, the Nigerian Afrobeats sensation shared how Shakira immersed herself in every detail of the track’s production.
“She’s incredibly involved—handling everything from studio adjustments to direct communication,” Burna Boy revealed.
“I lost count of how many times she called me throughout the process, but I loved every moment. How often does someone like Shakira dial you up nonstop?” he quipped.
The dynamic duo joined forces to create ‘Dia Dia,’ the electrifying soundtrack for the upcoming World Cup, set to take place across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
