Nollywood legend Bukky Wright has issued a strong warning to the public about scammers exploiting her identity for illegal activities.
The actress revealed that fraudsters have been using fabricated social media profiles under her name to deceive unsuspecting individuals.
Taking to Instagram, Wright urged her followers to stay alert and avoid engaging with suspicious accounts claiming to represent her.
She specifically denied involvement in a fake UK job recruitment post circulating online, labeling it as a scam.
The UK-residing star emphasized that she would never request funds, personal details, or encourage private interactions outside verified platforms.
“Stay vigilant against imposters posing as me. I do not ask for money or sensitive information, nor do I move conversations to unofficial channels. This is my only legitimate account.
“A false job opportunity in the UK was recently posted under my name—it’s a scam. Please ignore such posts. Your security and trust are my priority,” she affirmed.
