Nollywood star Bucci Franklin has finally responded to whispers of a romance with actress Sunshine Rosman.
Their intimate moment at the movie’s debut—a passionate onstage kiss—led fans to assume there was more between them.
Franklin, however, insists it was purely professional, an extension of their on-screen chemistry in the comedy.
“That kiss was pure acting—nothing more,” he emphasized. “Sunshine is an incredible talent, and I admire her work.”
He praised her Nigerian heritage and hinted at future collaborations, calling her “a joy to work with.”
“Confirmed? By who? That wasn’t in our script. The kiss fit our characters—not reality,”
Franklin told Chude Jideonwo. “I’m her biggest supporter. She’s got Nigerian roots, and I’d love to team up again.”
The two reunited for Kemi Adetiba’s Netflix hit *To Kill a Monkey*, where Franklin portrayed Oboz opposite Rosman’s Amanda “Sparkles.”
Beyond the gossip, Franklin shared how his acting journey began—performing in church plays as a teen.
“Those early roles built my craft and faith,” he reflected. “They prepared me for everything I do now.”
