A Nigerian woman based in the UK, Ify Okafor, has publicly accused Nollywood actress Nancy Isime and ex-beauty queen Sylvia Nduka of playing a role in the breakdown of her marriage to entrepreneur Chinedu Nwobodo, the founder of Circa Lagos.
In an emotionally charged Facebook post, Ify, originally from Ogwashi-Uku in Delta State, detailed multiple instances of infidelity during her marriage, claiming these affairs occurred while they were still legally and traditionally wed.
She specifically named Nancy Isime and Sylvia Nduka, alleging their involvement brought distress and turmoil into her family life.
Beyond infidelity, Ify recounted enduring physical violence, psychological manipulation, and threats, which she says created an unsafe and unpredictable environment throughout the marriage.
The situation worsened last year when she fell critically ill, and her husband reportedly abandoned her and their three children without support.
Despite pleading for assistance, Ify claims he provided only sporadic help, leaving her to manage both her health and childcare alone.
She described a recurring cycle where stability would briefly return, only to be disrupted by new conflicts, whether in Nigeria or the UK.
While living in Nigeria, her husband allegedly neglected financial responsibilities, offering temporary support before abruptly cutting it off.
