Renowned yet polarizing relationship expert Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has publicly voiced her distress following the detention of her partner, Ikechukwu Ogbonna IVD.
The prominent auto dealer was apprehended by Lagos State Police as he prepared to board a flight to Qatar, sparking widespread speculation.
Authorities confirmed his arrest relates to an ongoing investigation into a 2022 domestic violence incident involving his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna.
Taking to Instagram, Blessing CEO passionately defended IVD’s innocence, portraying the situation as an unjust persecution fueled by ulterior motives.
The fiery therapist declared she wouldn’t remain silent while witnessing what she perceives as systematic harassment against her soon-to-be husband.
“This relentless pressure must stop. I’m choosing love today, but I won’t hesitate to unveil the truth. IVD is being unfairly targeted – he’s done nothing wrong. This intimidation game has gone too far!” she emotionally posted.
In subsequent revelations shared on social media, Blessing CEO scrutinized the legal basis for IVD’s detention, pointing out puzzling procedural irregularities.
She disclosed that IVD’s recently reissued passport – replacing one lost for years – contained no travel restrictions, and emphasized the absence of formal charges against him.
The embattled relationship guru further alleged authorities plan to keep IVD detained until next week without proper documentation, characterizing the move as an abuse of power.
