Nigerian rap sensation Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has hinted at an early retirement, stating he won’t stay in the music scene for 15 years.

The ‘Like Ice Spice’ hitmaker made this revelation while applauding veteran artist Olamide for his remarkable 15-year career.

Blaqbonez admitted that while Olamide’s enduring success is enviable, it’s not a path he intends to follow.

Taking to his X account, he shared, “Big ups to @Olamide for this album—15 years in the game is insane. That’s the kind of staying power everyone dreams of. A true legend.”

In a follow-up post, he added, “Me? Nah, I can’t do 15 years. What you see is what you get.”
