Renowned Nigerian filmmaker Biodun Stephen recently voiced her disapproval of the growing trend among women who choose to forgo wearing underwear in public. She emphasized the importance of modesty and personal decorum.
Sharing a personal experience, Stephen recounted an incident at a beauty salon where a client receiving a pedicure inadvertently exposed herself while lifting her leg. The director expressed dismay over the lack of discretion in such situations.
Stephen advised women who prefer going without undergarments to opt for clothing choices like trousers or maxi dresses to maintain decency in public spaces.
