Nollywood star Adeoluwa Okusaga, popularly known as Saga, has announced an emotional initiative to support 10 individuals who’ve lost their mothers with N100k cash gifts each.

The actor shared that this heartfelt gesture serves as a tribute to his late mother’s memory on the 11th anniversary of her passing.

In a poignant Instagram post, he expressed: “Her resilience shaped who I am today,” crediting his success in Nollywood to the lessons she taught him.

Opening up about his ongoing grief, he continued: “My angel, I still can’t bring myself to record a new message this year – I’ll share last year’s tribute again. Eleven years feel like both eternity and a heartbeat. I wish I could shout loud enough for heaven to hear ‘I ache for you!’

“Life hasn’t been kind – it’s been a whirlwind of loneliness and unanswered questions. I stumble, I falter, I sometimes feel lost without your guidance. There’s this constant whisper: ‘I need your wisdom.’

“Yet through all these years… I’ve kept going, just like you taught me. That spark you ignited still glows within me, Mum. Though the world tries to dim it, and sometimes the flame wavers… it has never gone out. The warmth remains, but so does this emptiness where you should be.”

“Dearest Iya Ope, your baby boy has grown – an actor, a filmmaker now. How I wish I could see your proud smile! Though knowing your faith in me, you probably foresaw it all. Every ounce of my creativity blooms from the seeds you planted.”

“My love for you is eternal, my guardian angel. Keep watching over me – I know you’re right here. Forever your precious ‘Ade Bo Bo!’ Heaven has gained an angel indeed.

“To honor your legacy, I’m reaching out to 10 souls navigating life without their mothers.

You could receive N100,000 within two days. Simply message me: share your mother’s story, explain your need, and include your bank details. Tag anyone who might benefit… These challenging times call for compassion. You’re always in my heart, Mum.”
