Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, has once again shared his year-end cultural highlights, showcasing his diverse taste in books, films, and melodies.

In a post on his official social media channels, Obama unveiled his curated selections for 2025, featuring chart-topping Nigerian artists Burna Boy and Olamide prominently on his music roster.

Among the standout tracks were Burna Boy’s electrifying single Tatata featuring Travis Scott, as well as Olamide’s vibrant anthem 99, which includes Daecolm, Seyi Vibez, Asake, and Young John.

Additionally, the British-Nigerian vocalist Obongjayar’s hauntingly beautiful Not In Surrender secured a spot on the former President’s playlist.

The list also celebrated global icons including Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Lady Gaga, Gunna, and Canadian superstar Drake, spotlighting Obama’s broad musical preferences.

Posting the selections on X, Obama remarked, “Wrapping up 2025, I’m keeping the tradition alive by sharing my top picks in books, movies, and music. Hope you discover something inspiring—and if you have suggestions, I’m all ears!”
