The Grammy-nominated Afrobeats powerhouse Ayra Starr has sent fans into a frenzy by confirming the release month for her highly anticipated third album, “Starr Girl,” slated for July 2026. The Nigerian songstress, born Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, revealed details about her upcoming project during a captivating appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
“This album is my most personal work yet,” Starr shared passionately. “‘Starr Girl’ represents growth, vulnerability, and everything I’ve become as an artist. The July release can’t come soon enough!”
Following her critically acclaimed debut, “19 & Dangerous,” and sophomore release, “The Year I Turned 21,” this forthcoming project marks Ayra Starr’s triumphant return after months of teasing new material. The album announcement comes hot on the heels of her March 2026 single “Where Do Πηγές?!,” which has dominated charts worldwide.
The 2025 chart-toppers “Hot Body” and the Wizkid-assisted “Gimme Dat” (which earned a Grammy nod), along with her romantic “All The Love” EP, have set soaring expectations for what fans can expect from “Starr Girl.”
