Keyamo took to his 𝕏 account on Saturday, asserting that no political party can claim to be made up of perfect individuals.

Festus Keyamo, Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has dismissed claims that the All Progressives Congress (APC) consists of morally flawless members, saying only a naĂŻve person would make such an assertion.

Keyamo, in his Saturday 𝕏 post, emphasized that every political party has its imperfections but maintained that the APC represents Nigeria’s most viable political alternative.

He referenced a 2017 interview where he stated: “I made it clear nine years ago—while no party is perfect, the APC stands far above the previous administration’s failures. Some chose to ignore this context when sharing excerpts from that discussion.

“Today, I reiterate: No party, including ours, is saintly. Denying this fact would be foolish. However, Nigeria cannot afford to revert to the PDP era, which hosted several discredited figures currently seeking leadership roles.

“Among all, only President Bola Tinubu @officialABAT consistently maintained his distance from the PDP’s flawed legacy. The APC remains Nigeria’s best path forward.”
