Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Wizkid, born Ayodeji Balogun, has made an exciting request for fellow artist Asake—to perform at his upcoming wedding.

The revelation came during their recent joint interview on Apple Music’s radio show, hosted alongside DJ Tunez.

Wizkid shared how Asake’s hit ‘Omo Ope’ instantly won him over, but he crowned ‘Remember’ as his ultimate favorite, insisting it must be played at his wedding reception.

The Starboy CEO didn’t hold back on praise, calling Asake one of Africa’s most gifted vocalists and a global treasure in music.

Highlighting Asake’s impact, Wizkid emphasized how the ‘Lonely At The Top’ hitmaker elevates the continent’s sound on the world stage.

He enthused, “From the first note of ‘Omo Ope’, I became an Asake stan. But ‘Remember’? That’s the wedding anthem—book it now! The track is pure magic.
