A Federal High Court in Abuja has rescheduled the assault and battery case against popular rapper Odumodublvck (real name Tochukwu Ojogwu) to October 13 and 14 after the defense requested more time to finalize preparations.
The legal action was initiated in November 2025 by Levi Ogbogiri, professionally known as Kraziecent, who accused the artist of an unprovoked physical altercation during a public gathering on December 16, 2024.
According to the plaintiff, he was documenting the event with his iPhone 15 Pro Max when the alleged assault occurred, causing both physical harm and emotional trauma, in addition to damaging his smartphone.
During Tuesday’s proceedings before Justice Adeyemi Ajayi, claimant’s attorney Uchenna Ojembe confirmed his client—the sole witness—was present and prepared to testify. Defense lawyer Damilare Adeojo, however, sought postponement, referencing an earlier motion filed in November 2025 and requesting additional preparation time.
Ojembe objected, highlighting multiple prior adjournments secured by the defense, and proposed imposing a N500,000 cost penalty. Adeojo dismissed the suggestion, prompting Justice Ajayi to encourage professional cooperation between both legal teams before approving the delay.
The case has experienced multiple setbacks, including a May adjournment due to the absence of the defendant’s legal representative.
