The “Sungba” hitmaker admitted that he defied his father’s wishes by leaving home to pursue his musical aspirations.
He recounted, “My dad and I had an unbreakable bond growing up.
“But when I expressed my desire to chase my dreams in music, he refused. I had to leave against his will.”
This revelation comes after a public dispute in March 2025, where Asake’s father accused him of neglect, sparking widespread media attention.
