Popular Nigerian social media personality Tunde Ednut has sparked controversy by alleging that Senator Ned Nwoko ordered the arrest of Regina Daniels’ close friend after photos surfaced of the actress with a rumored new lover overseas.
The influencer dropped this bombshell in a fiery Instagram post late Monday, directly addressing the senator regarding the detention of Ann, Regina Daniels’ best friend.
As previously reported by Amonpoint News, Ann was taken into custody by Lagos police following theft accusations allegedly filed by Senator Nwoko.
This legal action comes just days after viral images showed Regina Daniels enjoying a night out with an unidentified male companion.
In his characteristically blunt style, Ednut advised the senator to accept the situation gracefully and stop pursuing Regina’s inner circle.
The social media star acknowledged Nwoko’s political clout but pleaded: “Your Excellency, constant arrests of her loved ones won’t change her mind. We recognize your power, but enough is enough. Distinguished Senator, it’s time to move forward.”
